Thanks giving

Maybe this is a little early, but I'm feeling grateful so I'm going to make a list of the things I'm grateful for.

My "A Wonderful Day" mix. 5th graders who write about wetting their pants and fishbowls. Having jobs (even though I want to quit Joe's every time I work there). My wonderful family. A roommate who makes an effort to wear pants (actually she doesn't, but she does make an effort to be a good roommate). My coworkers at Cougar Creations. Chum 230. Going home for Thanksgiving. Fridge cold water. Running into Lindsey outside the library and talking for 45 minutes. Christie Anne Peterson. Walking in the crisp autumn air. Sunday dinners. My little sister coming to BYU next winter. Vancouver, WA. Being weird around Kathryn (three more paragraphs coming later). My ipod, which I'm listening to right now. Eggnog. Bare, dead, brown trees. Christina and her facebook messages from Romania. People who make me laugh. The Lone Reed. Addictive TV shows (Felicity, Grey's Anatomy, etc.). Chicken broccoli. London! Trips down memory lane.

I'm going to go right now. But this will be updated.

Were you, by any chance, on the corner of University Avenue and 500 North last night at about 5:24pm?? Just wondering.

Why yes I was! I was on my way to Joe Vera's for a hot Friday night of waitressing.

One more thing to be thankful for: Chelm stalking you. Apparently, spell check doesn't think the word Chelm exists. Well, I don't think spell check exists. I'm grateful for running into you outside the library and the fantastic incident that occurred as we were speaking to each other.

Kathryn, I'm not done yet, ok? I'm still working on crafting the three paragraphs that I'm going to devote to you.

Maybe you should change the subject of your novel to the things you are thankful for. That way, you could dedicate an adequate amount to both Kathryn and me.

Bare, dead, brown trees. Don't ask me why I thought that was funny, since I am grateful for them too... all the same though, it made me laugh a bit.
