I was SO CLOSE TO QUITTING JOE VERA'S tonight. But then I went and saw David Hopkins, so everything will be fine. This isn't my favorite David Hopkin's song, but it was the best I could find on youtube. And no, he didn't perform sitting on a fireplace when I went to see him tonight. Shame, I know.

Kristin Cordelia Lowe, last evening I embarked upon a most glorious journey with our fellow kindred spirit (and your namesake if you please, Cordelia is such a beautiful name) beyond the lakes of shining waters into the land of the green gables. Watching this film made me think of you. We have not finished, we're going to spend next Sunday watching the second video. Whatever shall we do with that dratted Gilbert Blythe?
