Creepy

Oh my goodness. Jurassic park is such a creepy movie! No, really. I don't think I've seen it since it first came out in what '95? '92? No, wait I just looked it up . . . it was 93. So I was 7. How on earth have I not been scarred to death every day of my life since seeing that movie at age 7? When the kids are in the car and there is only a plastic roof between them and the attacking dinosaur, and when the car rolls over the side with the little boy in it, and the multiple deaths, and the little boy getting electrocuted with 10,000 volts (now would he really live through that?), and when the woman is trying to turn the power back on and the dinosaur rounds the corner. I was on the edge of my seat! I was kind of sleepy, so that might have added to my emotions. So, yeah, I watched Jurassic Park tonight, with Stu and his friend lindsa/ey. It was intense.

On a lighter note, I went to Corvallis today with my mom to visit my Grandparents. I got to talk about China (I'm not sick of telling the same stories over and over yet), and I listened as my mom and grandparents caught up on all the lives of my mom's siblings. It wasn't a thrilling day, but what would I be doing at home?

This evening Holly and I went to battelground lake and went rafting briefly because the ranger came around and told us the park was closing soon. We picnicked on the lake with our little sack lunches and juice. We're planning an excellent little camping trip for this Friday, which I'm excited about complete with s'mores, hot dogs and fishing! Does it get much better?

You probably weren't afraid because you realized that that movie is completely hilarious, but in your sleepy state, you forgot that.
And yes, I am the sas master, and maybe I will shoot you now.

You must be completely bored because you posted on my blog how many times?? Haha, while I was typing this comment this girl in my ward just came up and asked me to sing at a fireside in like two weeks. BYU-H is so funny and tiny.

hey you just dropped me off from camping! fun stuff. that could have been disasterous in so many ways but it worked out great with the big tent and our excellent fires and the perfect weather. it only could have been better if we'd had an air matress...

Kristin I like the new template. It's so fresh and inspiring. It makes me want to change my template too. But that cannot happen until I get a new soul because right now it reflects the blackness that is my soul.
